Who we are?

MUNDIA Association is a non-profit organization, created in the spring of 2008, in Cluj-Napoca, with the purpose to bring some hope in the Romanian society. This is a new association which aims to improve the lives of the suffering people whose world is sad and grey.

Vision:

We want to be an active part of a prosperous, healthy community, whose members can live a normal, decent life.

Mission:

The Mission of Mundia Association is to prevent, restore and maintain the health of the unfavoured categories of the society through medical projects, surgeries or direct sponsorship.
The purpose of Mundia Association is to give the chance to a new life by health condition improvement.

Must be the basis of all the actions performed by MUNDIA Association – to the community, to the companies, to the employees and partners – regarding the use of the resources and the impact of the implemented programs.

General objectives:

1. To carry out and support any activity which can bring a direct or indirect contribution to the support of the community;

2. To support volunteers, initiators and creators of charity, humanitary, educational and sports programs;

3. To support non government charity and humanitary organizations with similar activity object;

4. To develop own programs and programs in partnership with public and private authorities;

5. To support the moral, financial and social  straightening of these persons during and after offering the support;

6. The extension of the support network by encouraging and stimulating personal initiative;

7. The promotion of the young people and their support in developing that kind of knowledge and abilities which will help them in the personal development process;

8. Other activities according to the law and to the purpose of the association.

Target group:

MUNDIA ASSOCIATION helps children, unfavoured families and communities, regardless of their ethny, religion, disabilities or social status.

We believe that following our help the people with medical needs will be able to reintegrate in the society where they can live a normal life together with their families.

Our intervention is focused on sponsoring persons with medical problems, surgeries, medical treatments, prothesis and medical equipment, for the purpose to help these persons reintegrate in the society so that, on their turn, they can offer hope to the souls near them and lead a normal life.

In 2009 we will give priority to the eye defficient people, the Eyes Wide Open project will be extended and consolidated in all the special educational establishments for blind people in the country.

Selection criteria:

MUNDIAis an association aiming to help and change the lives of as many people as possible.

For this purpose we made a set of selection criteria for the future beneficiaries:

1. They must comply with the requests of MUNDIA Association mission
2. They must have a medical problem that we can solve
3. They must have maximum recovery chances
4. They must make proof by papers for all sponsorships received
5. They must be able to provide us real contact data

Main partners:

MUNDIA Association is a non-profit entity financed by the corporate group E van Wijk - S.C. Logistic E van Wijk SRL and SC Evw Holding S.R.L. Another financial resource is the campaign 2% from the income tax..

We want to find other financing sources too, so that we can increase the number of people that we help and our projects can have an impact on the society and be a way to promote volunteership.
